Godly Vision For 2020

The vision for 2020 is
“Seeing the dream fulfilled”

with
“FOCUS”
“COMMITMENT”
“INTENSITY”

• 

The Biblical way of getting our dreams fulfilled can be seen through the conversation between the prophet Habakkuk and God replying to it.

Habakkuk 1:1-3 

1 The oracle that the prophet Habakkuk saw.
The Prophet’s Complaint
² O Lord, how long shall I cry for help,
    and you will not listen?
Or cry to you “Violence!”
    and you will not save?
³ Why do you make me see wrongdoing
    and look at trouble?
Destruction and violence are before me;
    strife and contention arise.

The Reply of GOD:

Habakkuk 2:2-3
² Then the Lord answered me and said:
Write the vision;
    make it plain on tablets,
    so that a runner may read it.
³ For there is still a vision for the appointed time;
    it speaks of the end, and does not lie.
If it seems to tarry, wait for it;
    it will surely come, it will not delay.

• 

Rules about what you have to write ??

1.) Is it for my good ??
2.) Is it for the good of others ( not harming others )??
3.) Is it for the glory of God ??
4.) Is it as per the word of God ??
5.) Does it go against the teaching of the church ( abortion, divorce ) ??

Keeping in mind the above Rules

1.) Write Down Your Dream , Ask GOD what Dream he has for you

“Dream is not that which you see while sleeping it is something that does not let you sleep.”- A P J Abdul Kalam,

Hebrews 11:1 – The Meaning of Faith
11 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

2.) My Action is to claim the promises of God .

Keep on Saying it 100 or 1000 times and you will see the right opportunities,right job coming your way .
Just keep the Faith and Don’t get diverted to the worldly ways.
Persevere in Prayer.
For everything,God has revealed his promises and you need to find these promises in the Bible and keep saying it in faith.

3.) You need to have a feasible time for your dreams to come true.

Remember you are not putting conditions to God but setting a target for yourself . ( Keep a time limit : 3 months or 6 months whatever you feel so )
You need to have a direction ( Focus,Commitment, and Intensity ) for God to answer your prayers.

Promises in the bible

For Healing : Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions,
    crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the punishment that made us whole,
    and by his bruises we are healed.

For a Life partner : Genesis 2:18 – ¹⁸ Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”

For a Financial problem: Phillipians 4:19- ¹⁹ And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

For Every situation there is a promise in bible.
Our Vision should be clear.

• 

What areas we must address in our life ?? ( Your VISION For 2020 )

1.) Health – In Jesus I am always healthy and strong. All my cells are in divine harmony. Not only for me but for my family. If I am healthy I can pray , otherwise others have to pray for me.

2.) Mind– Anxiety , worries , stress – ” FEAR NOT”
Remember with stress how it affects you :-
Your digestive system will not work.
Your Immune system does not get energy and you will fall sick.
The blood supply to your frontal brain is stopped which ends up making wrong decisions.

To avoid that – Talk to GOD. Every suffering is a blessing for the glory of God.

3.) Spiritual area– Apply PACE To Your spiritual Life
(P) – Prayer – Daily prayer ( keep it as a priority )
(A) – Adoration – spend one on one time with GOD
(C) – Confession – make a routine to go for confession.
(E) – Eucharist – attend daily mass if possible

4.) Relationship – Spouse and children. Having a good relationship with spouse and children is key to our life. ( Forgiveness )

5.) Finances – GOD will supply all your NEEDS,not your WANTS.

Who is going to decide where you go this year ??

Jeremiah 29:11-14: ¹¹ For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. ¹² Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. ¹³ When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart, ¹⁴ I will let you find me, says the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

How to Make Most of Opportunities ? Opporunity + Opposition = GOD’s Will

I ) There are 3 choices in our life :

1.) A great purpose to live for
2.)Great people to team up with
3.)Use great opportunity what God gives you

We are solely Focusing On Opportunities

1.You must give yourself to great purpose greater than yourself

Matthew 24:14 ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

2. Join great people committed same purpose

1 Corinthians 3:9 ⁹ For we are partners working together for God, and you are God’s field.

3. Great opportunity

Ephesians 5:16 ¹⁶ Make good use of every opportunity you have, because these are evil days.

 

II) SIX THINGS we Must Do :

1. You must say no to good opportunity do I can say yes to great ones

1 Corinthians 7:35 ³⁵ I am saying this because I want to help you. I am not trying to put restrictions on you. Instead, I want you to do what is right and proper, and to give yourselves completely to the Lord’s service without any reservation.

2.Every opportunity must be Evaluated

Questions For Evaluations:

1.)Do I need to know and who knows it ?

Proverbs 18:13 ¹³ Listen before you answer. If you don’t, you are being stupid and insulting.

Proverbs 15:22 ²² Get all the advice you can, and you will succeed; without it you will fail.

2.) What might be the unintended consequences ?

Proverbs 14:16 ¹⁶ Sensible people are careful to stay out of trouble, but stupid people are careless and act too quickly.

3.) What’s your motivation ?

Philippians 2:3 ³ Don’t do anything from selfish ambition or from a cheap desire to boast, but be humble toward one another, always considering others better than yourselves.

Matthew 16:24 ²⁴ Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you want to come with me, you must forget yourself, carry your cross, and follow me.

4.) Does this fit my purpose and calling ?

Luke 9:62 ⁶² Jesus said to him, “Anyone who starts to plow and then keeps looking back is of no use for the Kingdom of God.”

Ephesians 4:1  I urge you, then—I who am a prisoner because I serve the Lord: live a life that measures up to the standard God set when he called you.

5.) Is this the best use of my time and energy ?

1 Corinthians 10:23 ²³ “We are allowed to do anything,” so they say. That is true, but not everything is good. “We are allowed to do anything”but not everything is helpful.

III)  Opportunities comes when I least expect them

Matthew 24:44 ⁴⁴ So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.

IV) I must stay flexible to be ready

Galatians 5:25 ²⁵ The Spirit has given us life; he must also control our lives.

3 Causes which detest us from being Flexible:
Inflexibility

Busyness
Luke 9:59 ⁵⁹ He said to another man, “Follow me.”But that man said, “Sir, first let me go back and bury my father.”

Lack of faith

V)Every opportunity will have opposition

1 Corinthians 6:9 ⁹ Surely you know that the wicked will not possess God’s Kingdom. Do not fool yourselves; people who are immoral or who worship idols or are adulterers or homosexual perverts

VI) Great opportunities bring great responsibilities

Luke 12:48 ⁴⁸ But the servant who does not know what his master wants, and yet does something for which he deserves a whipping, will be punished with a light whipping. Much is required from the person to whom much is given; much more is required from the person to whom much more is given.

Its UPTO YOU TO CHOOSE THE WAY…..
CHOOSE IT WISELY.

Opportunity + opposition = God’s will

March 24: Setting Goals/ Commitment

Commitment is what it meant to be setting Goals

Now a days Resolution are made Under Pressure.

There are some question to ourselves ….
1.) Why are we not making moral and Spiritual Impact?
2.) Why are that few read the inspired Word of God?
3.) Why are we not sharing the message of Saving Grace?

     ALL THESE QUESTIONS COME UP
BECAUSE THERE IS A LACK OF COMMITMENT

 

• Commitment to family, Neighbour Church, and Health:-
  

  Ephesians 6:5 : ⁵ Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

• CHIEF COMMITMENT : Matthew 27:37 – 38 ³⁷ Above his head they placed the written charge against him. It read,
  this is JESUS, the king of the JEWS.
  ³⁸ Two rebels against Rome were crucified with him. One was on his right and one was on his left.

   

• JESUS tells us supersede out commitment to even our families :-
  Luke 14:26-27
  ²⁶ “Anyone who comes to me must hate their father and mother. They must hate their wife and children. They must hate their brothers and sisters. And they must hate even their own life. Unless they do this, they can’t be my disciple. ²⁷ Whoever doesn’t carry their cross and follow me can’t be my disciple.

   

• COMMITMENT means Singular focused faithful, loyal attention and service to subject or person and organization :-
  Matthew 6:19 ¹⁹ “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal
  ²² “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.
  ²⁴ “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
  

   

• IT is impossible to give full allegiance, GOD must be our constant choice :-
  Luke 9:62
  ⁶² But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

   

• COMMITMENT starts at SURRENDER :-
  Galatians 5 : 17 ¹⁷ For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

  2 Corinthians 5 : 14 – 15 ¹⁴ For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; ¹⁵ and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

  Romans 1 : 17 ¹⁷ For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

  Galatians 3 :11 ¹¹ But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.

  Hebrews 10 :38  ³⁸ Now the just shall live by faith;
  But if anyone draws back,
  My soul has no pleasure in him.”

  Habakkuk 2 : 4 “Behold the proud,
  His soul is not upright in him;
  But the just shall live by his faith.

  

• PERSONAL COMMITMENT 

  1 peter 2 : 23 ²³ who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

  Ephesians 5 : 2, 25 ² And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

  ²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

  THREE B’S

  1.) BE COMMITTED TO GOD

  JOHN 3 : 16 ¹⁶ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

   

  Your Reply to god

   MARK 12 :30 ³⁰ And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’This is the first commandment.

  MATTHEW 6 : 33 ³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

  2.) BE COMMITTED TO FAMILY

  3.) BE COMMITTED TO CHURCH / PRAYER GROUP

  HEBREWS 10 : 25 ²⁵ not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

  MALACHI 3 : 8 -10

  Do Not Rob God

  ⁸ “Will a man rob God?
  Yet you have robbed Me!
  But you say,
  ‘In what way have we robbed You?’
  In tithes and offerings.
  ⁹ You are cursed with a curse,
  For you have robbed Me,
  Even this whole nation.
  ¹⁰ Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
  That there may be food in My house,
  And try Me now in this,”
  Says the Lord of hosts,
  “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
  And pour out for you such blessing
  That there will not be room enough to receive it.

  Prayer : TRUST GOD AND JUST DO IT, HE IS THE ONE THAT GIVES INCREASE.
