How to attend a Holy Mass (Eucharist)Properly ??? [ Part 1 ]

PART 1 : INTRODUCTORY RITES OF THE HOLY MASS

What is the Eucharist ???
CCC 1325 “The Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause of that communion in the divine life and that unity of the People of God by which the Church is kept in being. It is the culmination both of God’s action sanctifying the world in Christ and of the worship men offer to Christ and through him to the Father in the Holy Spirit.”

CCC 1328 The inexhaustible richness of this sacrament is expressed in the different names we give it. Each name evokes certain aspects of it.
It is called: Eucharist, because it is an action of thanksgiving to God.

Unless we know the full meaning of the eucharist, we won’t benefit from it.
Eucharist should not be seen as an obligation, we should attend the eucharist with a heart of love.
Every eucharist something happens within us, but we won’t realize  it. Eucharist means thanksgiving. We should come with a heart of gratitude for the eucharist.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

(A) INTRODUCTORY RITES OF THE MASS CONSISTS OF :

As we dive into the topic, let us contemplate the testimony of Catalina of the holy mass. The rites and sacraments of the holy mass was explained to her by Jesus and Blessed Virgin. Catalina Rivas from México is said to receive Messages from Jesus, Mary, and the angels. She has the approval of her Bishop, who has given his imprimatur to her Messages.
Let us focus more on the words of Catalina and put it into practice as we attend the Holy Mass.

Catalina : When I arrived at church the next day, a little bit late, the Archbishop and priests were already coming out of the sacristy.  The Virgin Mary said with Her soft and feminine voice that sweetens one’s soul:Today is a day of learning for you, and I want you to pay close attention because of what you will witness today. Everything that you will experience today, you will have to share with all of humanity.” I was deeply moved without understanding why, but I tried to be very attentive.

Rites of the Mass

1.) Entrance Hymn
Participating in the entrance hymn -We are not present as an individual during the mass, we are a community. Participating in the hymns is a declaration of unity among us before the Lord.

Catalina : The first thing I noticed was a choir of very beautiful voices that was singing as if it was far away. For moments the music came closer and, then, it went further away like the sound of the wind.

When the people are gathered, the Priest approaches the altar with the ministers while the entrance chant is sung.
When he has arrived at the altar, after making a profound bow with the ministers, the Priest venerates the altar with a Kiss and if appropriate, incenses the cross and the altar.

When the Entrance chant is concluded, the Priest and the faithful, standing , sign themselves with the Sign of the Cross, while the Priest, facing the people says:

2.) Sign of the Cross :
In the name of the father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit

People reply : AMEN

By Doing Sign of the Cross , We are asking For GOD’s Protection.

3.) Greeting of the priest :
Then the priest, extending his hands, greets the people saying:

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the
Holy Spirit be with you all.
Or:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Or:
The Lord be with you.

People reply: And with your Spirit

This tradition comes from the bishops and the priests. When we respond to the eucharist we affirm both our mental and physical presence in the eucharist.

4.) Penitential Act:
After the greeting the priest asks us to recollect our sins in order to repent and accept Jesus in our hearts. Firstly, we need to acknowledge that we are sinners. We need to examine ourselves in thoughts, words, deeds.

ROMANS 8:1
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,”

Then the Priest invites the faithful, saying :
Brothers and sisters, Let us acknowledge our sins, and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.

then all recite together the formula of general confession:
I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do,(And, striking their breast, they say:) through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

The General absolution by the Priest follows:
May almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.

people reply with ; AMEN

Lamentations 3:22-23
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.

Need to meditate at this moment some important things which was said to Catalina by Blessed Virgin Mary ( You can read it from here the part which i had put down below , to read the full testimony i will put the link to the site you can read it from there too ):

The Archbishop started Mass and, when he reached the Penitential Rite, the Blessed Virgin said:
“From the bottom of your heart, ask the Lord to forgive your faults that have offended Him. In this way, you will be able to participate worthily in this privilege of assisting at the Holy Mass.
I thought for a fraction of a second: “Surely I am in a state of grace of God; I went to confession last night.”
She answered: “Do you think that since last night you have not offended the Lord?  Let Me remind you of a few things. When you left to come here, the girl who helps you approached to ask you for something and, as you were late and in a hurry, you did not answer her in a very nice way. There was a lack of charity on your part, and you say, you have not offended God…?
“While on the way here, a bus crossed over your lane and almost hit you. You expressed yourself in a very non-advisable way against that poor man, instead of saying your prayers and preparing yourself for Mass. You have failed in charity and lost your peace and patience. And you say you have not hurt the Lord?

“You arrive at the last minute when the procession of the celebrants is already coming out to celebrate the Mass…  and you are going to participate without previous preparation…”
I replied, “All right, my Mother, say no more to me. You do not have to remind me of more things because I am going to die of grief and shame.”

“Why must you all arrive at the last moment? You should have arrived earlier to be able to pray and ask the Lord to send His Holy Spirit that He may grant you a spirit of peace and cleanse you of the spirit of the world, your worries, your problems, and your distractions so as to enable you to live this so sacred a moment. However, you arrive almost when the celebration is about to commence, and you participate as if it is an ordinary event, without any spiritual preparation. Why? This is the greatest of Miracles. You are going to live the moment when the Most High God gives His greatest gift, and you do not know how to appreciate it.”

This was enough. I felt so bad that I had more than enough to ask for forgiveness from God. It was not only for the offenses of that day, but also for all the times that, like so many other people, I had waited for the priest to finish his homily before entering the Church. It was also for the times that I did not know or refused to understand what it meant to be there, and for the times that perhaps my soul was full of more serious sins, and I had dared to participate in the Holy Mass.

5.) Kyrie, Eleison

You were sent to heal the contrite of heart:

Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison.
Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison.
You came to call sinners:
Christ, have mercy. Or: Christe, eleison.
Christ, have mercy. Or: Christe, eleison.
You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us:
Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison.
Lord, have mercy. Or: Kyrie, eleison.

6.) The GLORIA
( In Gloria we acknowledge the gospel, Jesus is continuously interceding for us from the right hand of the father.)

When indicated this hymn is either sung or said:
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to people of good will.
We praise you,
we bless you,
we adore you,
we glorify you,
we give you thanks for your great glory,
Lord God, heavenly King,
O God, almighty Father.
Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son,
Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father,
you take away the sins of the world,
 have mercy on us;
you take away the sins of the world,
 receive our prayer;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father,
 have mercy on us.
For you alone are the Holy One,
you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High,
Jesus Christ,
with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father.
Amen.

CATALINA :
It was a feast day, and the Gloria was to be recited. Our Lady said“Glorify and bless with all your love the Holy Trinity, in your acknowledgement of being one of Its creatures.

How different was that Gloria! Suddenly I saw myself in a far off place full of light, before the Majestic Presence of the Throne of God. With so much love I went on thanking Him, as I repeated: “For your immense Glory we praise You, we bless You, we adore You, we give You glory, we give You thanks, Lord, God, Heavenly King, God the Father Almighty.” And I recalled the paternal face of the Father, full of kindness. “Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, You take away the sins of the world…” And Jesus was in front of me, with that face full of tenderness and Mercy… “For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are the Lord, You alone are the most High Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit…”, the God of beautiful Love. He, Who at that moment, caused my whole being to tremble…

And I asked: “Lord, deliver me from all evil spirits. My heart belongs to You. My Lord, send me Your peace so that I can gain the finest benefits from the Eucharist and that my life may produce the best fruits. Holy Spirit of God, transform me, act within me, guide me. Oh God, give me the gifts that I need to serve you better!”

7.) The COLLECT
( The collect, each of us is encouraged to bring our prayers before the Lord, the priest being the mediator. )

When this hymn is concluded, the Priest, says:
Let us pray.
And all pray in silence with the Priest for a while. Then the Priest says the Collect prayer, at the end of which the people acclaim:
People say : Amen.

Few Points to Consider :
1.) We should come early for the Eucharist to prepare ourselves in order to participate in the mass. Like the way we go through certain procedures before boarding a flight, attending Mass also needs certain preparations mentally, physically and spiritually.
2.) Dress modestly in the church so that you don’t become a distraction for others.
3.) Praying for the priests is very important. No priests means no eucharist.

Conversion : Bringing Up a Change In Faith

Wait…
Wait…
Wait

Conversion is not what you are thinking about !!

This is another Type of Conversion we are going to talk about,
It is about a Parable From the Bible (Chapter Luke 7:36-50 ). When we read it from one aspect we get to know the sinful women who fell into the feet of Jesus and does the things she wants to do and then when Pharisees talk about the woman, Jesus tells Simon about a small parable about two people who owed money and their debts are forgiven. And then Jesus forgives the sinful woman.

And there is another aspect which we are going to see from the Same parable in this Post

It can only be known when we have a thorough Reflection and dig deep into the bible verse. The Scripture unveils us amazing things that we have to practice in our daily lives.

Luke 7:36-50

Jesus Anointed by a Sinful Woman
36 When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. 37 A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. 38 As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.
39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.”
40 Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”
“Tell me, teacher,” he said.
41 “Two people owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he forgave the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?”
43 Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt forgiven.”
“You have judged correctly,” Jesus said.
44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”
48 Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
49 The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”
50 Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

* the word feet is repeated again and again.
* the sinful woman whom we are talking about is MARY MAGDALENE.

Why does GOD wants us to Change ??

THIS IS THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

JOHN 16:8
WHEN HE COMES, HE WILL PROVE THE WORLD TO BE IN THE WRONG ABOUT SIN AND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT.

An article about DANNY HOLMES attached below

Few lines from his article :

Holmes officially pleaded guilty to the indictment, including charges related to first-degree murder, kidnapping, robbery and criminal impersonation of law enforcement. He’ll serve a life sentence in prison, one which he says he’ll wear “as a badge of honor.”

I’m 30-years-old, and I’ve been fighting for nothing all my life. I’ve been fighting for gangs. … I ain’t never fought for anything that made sense. But I knew the Lord was telling me to fight for him this time. I just knew he was stirring on my spirit.”

Holmes recounted his flashy lifestyle to the court. He had money — lots of it — designer goods and expensive cars. Now he plans to tell all the young people he meets in prison about finding salvation through religion, not cash or luxuries.

It is about Conviction the holy spirit helps each other in our lives , if your friend or colleague or partner is doing wrong in something , the spirit helps convict them through you as a medium. May it be again and again until they realize that they have done wrong in somethings.

Choose to be the Best Version or Be the second Hand (worst ) in everything.

Choosing a Life of Sin is choosing to be Second hand version for God.
This Implies that you are not giving the best version of yourself to God.

It is upto them they will choose But the Holy Spirit will do what it needs to be done.

ASPECT OF the Bible verse

1.) Where is the Real Party Going On ???

For Simon – It is the House and Pharisees (  members of a religious group or party who frequently clashed with Jesus Christ over his interpretation of the Law.)
Woman- To live In the FEET OF JESUS

2.) Simon is Playing a 50-50 game which in reality we all are doing it ( Most of them)
It was a gesture of honor done to people having regard in society. But here, Simon the Pharisee plays safe which we call the “50-50 game ”
as the host of a meal, who invited Jesus to eat in his house but failed to show him the usual marks of hospitality offered to visitors – a greeting kiss, water to wash his feet, or oil for his head.

The Instances where there is a difference between the woman and Simon The Pharisees :

1.) Washing of the Feet: By inviting Jesus to the party, but not honoring him by washing his feet, fearing how the other Pharisees would react. The woman, however, ran straight to Jesus to wash his feet, not caring about what others would think.

2.) Wiped it with her Hair: In those days, hair was considered to be a precious asset for women in Israel. Men considered hair to be a mark of beauty for women (even today to some extent). Also, women who were involved in adultery were identified by their hair left loose, to attract men. The same hair with which the woman used to sin has now become the tool to honor the Lord.

3.) Kissed the feet: Kissing is considered to be the most intimate expression of love towards another. Common examples would be kissing the photo of a loved one or kissing the statues of Jesus and Mother Mary. The woman truly loved Jesus, repented and seeked forgiveness from him, showing how serious she was about her conversion.

4.) Anointed the Feet with Oil: Anointing with oil, in the Jewish culture was practiced to sanctify or declare a person as holy. This was only done to the priests, high priests, and Kings and restricted to be practiced upon common people. The woman realized that Jesus was not a common man like others but the most high. Thus by anointing the feet with oil the women sets apart Jesus as ‘Holy’.

That’s when Jesus comes up with the parable of two people who owed money one ( 500 denarii ) and second ( 50 denarii ). Both their debts were forgiven. So which of them do you think will love him more ( Perspective of Two people ) ??
The reply from Simon and us will be the one who has more money.

But Jesus Forgives both of them equally But the Love From one of them is the most. That is what Jesus tries to tell the difference between the woman and Simon.

Jesus Looked at the Heart of the Woman

St.Teresa of Avila has some beautiful quotes : ( Jesus as a good tenant who has a lodging place in our Heart )

Discontent with this world gives such a painful longing to quit it that, if the heart finds comfort, it is solely from the thought that God wishes it to remain here in banishment”. Saint Teresa of Avila

It seems also to me as if His Majesty were going about to try those who love Him,–now one, another,–revealing Himself in supreme joy, so as to quicken our belief, if it should be dead, in what He will give us, saying, Behold! this is but a drop of the immense sea of blessings; for He leaves nothing undone for those He loves; and as He sees them receive it, so He gives, and He gives Himself. He loves those who love Him. Oh, how dear He is!–how good a Friend! O my soul’s Lord, who can find words to describe what Thou givest to those who trust in Thee, and what they lose who come to this state, and yet dwell in themselves! Oh, let not this be so, O my Lord! for Thou doest more than this when Thou comest to a lodging so mean as mine. Blessed be Thou for ever and ever!” ( The life of St.teresa of Jesus by Teresa of Avila Chapter XXII – 26 )

WOMEN DID FOUR THINGS Which We Have To Do In our day to day Life To Live as a CHRIST -LIKE .( Steps for Conversion)

1.) Washing the feet with tearsRepentance – Leaving behind the sin ( realization )
True repentance is when we are serious about our commitment to God, not just in words, but also in action and behavior. A truly repented person will bring serious lifestyle changes and habits, in order to show God that he is serious about the conversion and ready to do God’s will.

2.) Wiped it with her hair Penance – wipe the slate clean
Turning from the sin to the feet of the lord. (Follow the rule, when you know you show). Do Confession and Penance. Penance is accepting the consequences of our sins. Even though we are forgiven, we will have to face the consequences, because we serve a just God. Penance involves pain.

3.) Kissing the feetintimacy ( Devotion) – Conversion is getting close to Jesus. Getting intimate with Jesus. When we are close to Jesus, its a joy to struggle for the sake of God. Grow in the struggle ( Our Prayer Life )

4.) Anointed my feet with ointment – life of service
Serve Jesus. In order to serve Jesus we have to try our best to be pure in whatever we think and do. We serve Jesus when we try to be ‘Christ-like’.

Conclusion :
1.) Try to follow the steps of Conversion
2.) Do not play the 50 -50 game .. Make it 100 % ( Give your full commitment )
3.) Grow in the Struggle

Day 2 : Choosing Our Choices

Yesterday we Focused on Repentance , Today it is about as a new creation Choosing our Choices
Our Time For the LORD
Our Priority
Our Love for Him

Life is Full of choices

Choosing to serve God and making it as a priority is what means to us a life where we learn To trust GOD , the presence of the LORD ( HOLY SPIRIT) and the paths he has for Us.

The Israelites time in the desert and our forty-day Lenten fast represent God’s invitation for us to trust him completely.

The Intelligent thing to choose what is upright and good, but what is attractive is to choose what flatters one’s ego and satisfies one’s immediate urges.

Intelligence says, think deeper , don’t go by appearances, choose wisely, think of consequences, act responsibly

It is the time we ought to understand the challenge of Jesus to take up the cross ” Daily “. Really speaking , one can walk the path of the cross only once in life because on the cross one gives up one’s life. But Jesus invites us to bring the same radical measure of generosity to our daily
Acts of kindness
Thoughtfulness
Forgiveness
Service
Work
Renunciation

Luke 9:22-25
22 He also told them, “The Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the teachers of the Law. He will be put to death, but three days later he will be raised to life.”
23 And he said to them all, “If you want to come with me, you must forget yourself, take up your cross every day, and follow me. 24 For if you want to save your own life, you will lose it, but if you lose your life for my sake, you will save it. 25 Will you gain anything if you win the whole world but are yourself lost or defeated? Of course not!

Very often in life we have the wrong priorities.  We seek instant satisfaction and gratification over eternal fulfillment.  It’s hard for many people to live with an eternal perspective.

Some may say, “Well, I choose both!  I want the whole world and the salvation of my soul!”  But Jesus’ question presupposes that we cannot have both.  We must pick which one we choose to pursue.  Choosing a life of faith and the salvation of our souls requires that we let go of many things in this world.  Even if God were to bless us with much in this world, we must strive to live in such a way that we are ready and willing to “give it up” if it were beneficial to our eternal salvation, or the salvation of others.  This is hard to do and requires a very deep love of God.  It requires that we are convinced, on the deepest level, that the pursuit of holiness is more important than anything else.

The World or your Soul ?

In complete contrast to Mary from yesterday’s devotional, stands Judas. One of them is known for her extravagant worship; the other for his treacherous betrayal. Mary didn’t count the cost of worship and spent her money on expensive perfume. Judas, on the other hand, focused on counting his thirty pieces of silver. One was sold out for Jesus; the other was a sell-out.

Yet, I don’t believe that Judas was motivated solely by his love of money. He was, instead, prodded by his fear of man.

All circumstances pointed to the fact that the death of Jesus was imminent. Even Jesus himself said so! Judas feared for his future and he feared for his life. The new kingdom that he was expecting Jesus to usher in was disintegrating. He focused on the power of the rulers, instead of dwelling on the power of the One who delineated authority to those rulers. He allowed the tangible to edge out the eternal.

Lean In

Heavenly Father, I know I can easily be swayed by the fear of man. I often subscribe to the false idea that people control my circumstances, rather than a sovereign, loving God. I pray that I will give you your rightful place on the throne of my life. I pray that faith not fear will drive my decisions.

Lord, as we enter into this Lenten season, give me the grace I need to look at my priorities.  Help me to honestly discern that which is the most fundamental and central driving motivation of my life.  Help me to choose You above all else so that You will help everything in my life to become ordered in accord with Your holy will.  Jesus, I trust in You.

Thank you Jesus
Praise the Lord
Have a good Day !!

Memorizing Bible verses

Day 2

Exodus 15 :11

11 Who among the gods
    is like you, Lord?
Who is like you—
    majestic in holiness,
awesome in glory,
    working wonders?

Ash Wednesday : Repent and Believe in The Gospel

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the Season of Lent. Lent is the Season appointed for repentance and spiritual purification. Our God is kind and merciful. Let this truth encourage us to turn to the Lord without fear for our inward renewal.

Lent is the Journey of Faith to the supreme joy of Easter. If we die with Christ, we shall rise with Christ.

Ecclesiastes 3:20
20 They are both going to same place—the dust. They both came from it; they will both go back to it.

REPENTANCE

Ash Wednesday is a Powerful invitation to Repentance. Those who Find it hardest to repent are not toughened sinners, but people who consider Themselves already good. To Them is addressed the message ” TEAR YOUR HEARTS” because they have steeled themselves in advance against an invitation to look at their lives critically.

It is with them that Paul pleads not to let go opportunity to change their self understanding , that all is not well with them. What the Lord expects everyone is Truth and sincerity in the heart. Some people in response expect from the Lord a conspicuous favour.

The Lord points daily miracles that are evident to those who have faith , who know how to interpret the signs of the times. Peter is the first to make an act of faith in our behalf and in behalf of the whole humanity accepting JESUS as the , ‘ The CHRIST the SON of the LIVING GOD’.

Faith is not the fruit of some Human initiative , but a gift from the Father

Make use of these Gifts to be an Example to the others in knowing what GOD has in their life.

Be a NEW CREATION this Lent By Repenting and turning to God and Living in the likeness of the LORD.

How to be a new creation this Lent ?

Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus, actually understood. In fact, she understood more than the indignant disciples who tried to stop her from “wasting” the perfume on Jesus. She, perhaps, understood that Jesus wouldn’t be with them much longer.

Her response to Jesus’ imminent death is beautiful. She worshipped him. Not a casual, what’s-next-on-the-agenda worship. But an extravagant worship where she didn’t count the cost. It was a reverential worship, an extraordinary worship, perhaps even an irrational worship. She didn’t look at the clock or her wallet or at people around her who were wagging their fingers in judgement.

Instead, she looked at Jesus. She allowed him to fill her vision and eclipse everything else around her. She worshipped like no one was watching.

So all we Have to do in our daily life this lent is:

1.) Give Time to GOD ( Make him as a Priority )
2.) Read the Bible
3.) Meditate on the word of GOD
4.) Spread the word of GOD to your friends and people who want to know
5.) Giving up things which you feel is taking away from the Lord
6.) Spreading Love to the people who need it
7.) Fasting ( See the Pic below )

Lean In

Heavenly Father, Help me to worship in a way that truly takes all of me. Help me love you with not just my words but with all my soul, my mind, my strength and my heart. Let me never be content with lukewarm worship, but let me burn with the flame of faith set aglow by a deep reverence for you. Amen.

Wishing you all a grace filled and Fruitful season of Lent .

Praise the Lord
Thank you JESUS
God bless you all.

Ending up with what Pope Francis wants us how to be in this LENT Season

A small initiative that i want to start is Memorizing a bible verse daily so Starting with one

Isaiah 55 :6-7

Turn to the Lord and pray to him,
    now that he is near.
Let the wicked leave their way of life
and change their way of thinking.
Let them turn to the Lord, our God;
he is merciful and quick to forgive.

KNOWING GODS WILL IN OUR LIFE

Before we dwell into knowing Gods will in our life let us recall King Solomon. When asked by God about what he wished for, King Solomon could have asked for many things , but he asked for a discerning heart , “Wisdom”.
And God gave him what he asked for i.e. wisdom along with great richness and everything a person could ask for.
However, overtime Solomon became comfortable in his richness and he deviated from Gods law and commandments. He had multiple foreign wives from outside Israel who took him away from God and led him to worship foreign gods, he multiplied wealth and army against the commands of the Lord.

King Solomon Life became a cycle of:
Palace —> Pleasure —-> Pagan

Consequence – As God told him, the legacy of his turning away, was a divided kingdom. In the reign of Rehoboam, his son, the Kingdom of Israel divided from Judah, as a result of Solomon’s increasingly oppressive policies. When Rehoboam followed his father’s misguided policies the ten tribes in the north had enough, and they divided from Judah. The great unified Davidic Kingdom had ended and within less than 200 years Israel (721 BC) and later Judah (587 BC) were invaded and destroyed.

But Solomon’s story could be the story of any of us if we are not careful to persevere in the ways of God.Failing to heed God brings destruction. And Solomon systematically failed to heed God.
The great and wise Solomon, once close to God’s heart and preferring nothing of the world to God’s wisdom. But a man who died smothered in wealth, sex and power. A man whose heart turned from God.

So the question arises, How do I know Gods will?

God has two kinds of wills:

1. Authoritative will
Creation of the world, or anything that is an example of God’s sovereignty, perfect will
2. Permissive will
Something that God allows to happen

Where can I receive God’s will from?

1. Logos ( The written Word of God)
Prophecies are Logos

Word of GOD became FLESH
|
JESUS’S are actions written
|
It is complete, no one can add or subtract from it.

2. Rhema (Spoken Word)
Luke 1:38
38 And Mary Said , “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

In Mary’s example, Logos refers to all the prophecies and messages mentioned in the old testament about the coming of a Saviour. Whereas, Rhema is the Spoken message / Word through the angel saying that Mary shall conceive this Saviour.

To Receive Logos and Rhema, it is important to remember :
1.) Do not be anxious about decisions, situations…
John 14.1: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.
1 Peter 5:7 :  Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

2.) Romans 12:2 :
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you;
I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Psalms 139:13 : For you formed my inward parts;you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.

Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and YOU WILL BE MY WITNESSES in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Prerequisites to know God’s will

1. Walk with God
Develop a relationship with God and make it your lifestyle. This means a stable character in and outside the church.
In Bible , Like ENOCH , NOAH , ABRAHAM , ZECHARIAH AND ELIZABETH walked with GOD

2. Immerse yourself in the Word of God
Read it cover to cover if you haven’t yet. Journal, reflect, choose whichever way you prefer to develop a better understanding.

3. Obey what YOU already know
Follow the basics without fail. For instance, mass, receiving sacraments, going for prayer meetings, personal prayer etc. Four spokes of the wheel: Prayer, Word of God, fellowship, witnessing.

4. Seek Godly counsel and company:
Take help of mentors, elders, accountability partners.
People who’ve already journeyed on this path of walking in Gods will. They will guide, correct, rejoice with you.

5. Pay attention to self
1 Peter 4:10 Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve one another.
Everyone is not blessed with the same talents, we should learn to use our talents in unique ways. #USE YOUR GIFTS.

Guidelines while making a decision :

1. Surrender your decision (desire to discern) to the Lord
Give God the permission to be the Lord of your situation. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Psalm 3:5 says,” He will Guide you”

2. Listen to God
Train yourself to Listen.
“John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them and they follow me.” Only if we listen will we know to follow Jesus.

3. Listen to your heart

4. Look at your own circumstances
Don’t let emotions take the better of you. Look at the practicality of the current situation.

5. Look with your Mind
Evaluate pros and cons of your decision.

Things to remember while decision making

1. Make your own decision. Don’t depend on someone else. This means taking responsibility for your decisions and being accountable to yourself rather than playing the blame game.

2. Seek for confirmation or affirmation and you’ll receive it in many ways either through Word of GOD, godly councel , parents etc

3. Think about the consequence of your decision. Will your decision bring you closer to God? Will you be walking with God ?

4. See if your decision brings you a deep sense of peace. Peace is something that can be found only in God and this is an indicator or quality that the devil cannot imitate. Therefore peace will show that you are on the right track

5. Check what will be the fruit of the decision i.e. Will it become an encouragement to believers and a testimony to non-believers?

Keep GOD first in Whatever you Do and Rest will Fall in Place .
Take your time for the Word of GOD and have a personal connection with the LORD.

GOD BLESS YOU All
Praise the Lord

Controlling our Thoughts through Word of GOD

Our Mind is where thoughts take over ,
Our Thoughts about something is what Runs our mind throughout the process of Thinking and executing the outcome.

There is war going on the mind regarding our thoughts to the worldy things and the things which the Lord wants to do to us.
This are so contrasting things
That’s why they say
“Battlefield is in our minds.”

The LORD says,

Isaiah 55:8-9
My thoughts,” says the Lord, “are not like yours,
and my ways are different from yours.
As high as the heavens are above the earth,
so high are my ways and thoughts above yours.

Romans 12:1-2

Life in God’s Service

12 So then, my friends, because of God’s great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God—what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.

Turn back to the word of God when Satan is bringing various kind of disturbing thoughts ( Worrying about life , job , relationship )

John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come in order that you might have life—life in all its fullness.

2 Corinthians 10:4 – 5
The weapons we use in our fight are not  the world’s weapons but God’s powerful weapons, which we use to destroy strongholds. We destroy false arguments; we pull down every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey Christ.

Psalm 121:3
He will not let you fall;
    your protector is always awake.

Psalm 50:15
Call to me when trouble comes;
    I will save you,
    and you will praise me.”

Do not be afraid—I am with you!
I am your God—let nothing terrify you!
I will make you strong and help you;
I will protect you and save you.

Isaiah 40:31
But those who trust in the Lord for help
    will find their strength renewed.
They will rise on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not get weary;
they will walk and not grow weak.

Psalm 91

Read it as you Start your day

1 Whoever goes to the Lord for safety,
whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,
can say to him,
“You are my defender and protector.
You are my God; in you I trust.”
He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers
    and from all deadly diseases.
He will cover you with his wings;
    you will be safe in his care;
his faithfulness will protect and defend you.
You need not fear any dangers at night
or sudden attacks during the day
or the plagues that strike in the dark
or the evils that kill in daylight.

A thousand may fall dead beside you,
    ten thousand all around you,
but you will not be harmed.
You will look and see
    how the wicked are punished.

You have made the Lord your defender,
    the Most High your protector,
10 and so no disaster will strike you,
no violence will come near your home.
11 God will put his angels in charge of you
to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands
to keep you from hurting your feet on the stones.
13 You will trample down lions and snakes,
    fierce lions and poisonous snakes.

14 God says, “I will save those who love me
and will protect those who acknowledge me as Lord.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
when they are in trouble, I will be with them.
I will rescue them and honor them.
16 I will reward them with long life;
    I will save them.”

To Control Thoughts or when thoughts take over our Mind
All we have to do is Turn to the Word of GOD and see what God tells us.
Keep Your Faith In whatever you do… Don’t let others perspective take over your thought process to another level and let you down .

Be calm in what you do
Be calm in what you think
Keep the word of GOD in all you do.

Praise GOD
God bless
Have a great day
Thanks!!

Faithfulness And Forgiveness

All that Matters in Life is showing our Faithfulness to God and thats how we shape up our Life in building up with keeping Our faith towards God as the centre point of our Life and other things revolving around it.

Romans 10:17
17 So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ.

The Best explanation To faith Comes from the below verse

Hebrews 11

Faith
11 To have Faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. It was by their faith that people of ancient times won God’s approval.
It is by faith that we understand that the universe was created by God’s word, so that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen.
It was faith that made Abel offer to God a better sacrifice than Cain’s. Through his faith he won God’s approval as a righteous man, because God himself approved of his gifts. By means of his faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.
It was faith that kept Enoch from dying. Instead, he was taken up to God, and nobody could find him, because God had taken him up. The scripture says that before Enoch was taken up, he had pleased God. No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.
It was faith that made Noah hear God’s warnings about things in the future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which he and his family were saved. As a result, the world was condemned, and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith.
It was faith that made Abraham obey when God called him to go out to a country which God had promised to give him. He left his own country without knowing where he was going. By faith he lived as a foreigner in the country that God had promised him. He lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who received the same promise from God. 10 For Abraham was waiting for the city which God has designed and built, the city with permanent foundations.
11 It was faith that made Abraham able to become a father, even though he was too old and Sarah herself could not have children. He trusted God to keep his promise. 12 Though Abraham was practically dead, from this one man came as many descendants as there are stars in the sky, as many as the numberless grains of sand on the seashore.
13 It was in faith that all these persons died. They did not receive the things God had promised, but from a long way off they saw them and welcomed them, and admitted openly that they were foreigners and refugees on earth. 14 Those who say such things make it clear that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 They did not keep thinking about the country they had left; if they had, they would have had the chance to return. 16 Instead, it was a better country they longed for, the heavenly country. And so God is not ashamed for them to call him their God, because he has prepared a city for them.
17 It was faith that made Abraham offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice when God put Abraham to the test. Abraham was the one to whom God had made the promise, yet he was ready to offer his only son as a sacrifice. 18 God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that you will have the descendants I promised.” 19 Abraham reckoned that God was able to raise Isaac from death—and, so to speak, Abraham did receive Isaac back from death.
20 It was faith that made Isaac promise blessings for the future to Jacob and Esau.
21 It was faith that made Jacob bless each of the sons of Joseph just before he died. He leaned on the top of his walking stick and worshiped God.
22 It was faith that made Joseph, when he was about to die, speak of the departure of the Israelites from Egypt, and leave instructions about what should be done with his body.
23 It was faith that made the parents of Moses hide him for three months after he was born. They saw that he was a beautiful child, and they were not afraid to disobey the king’s order.
24 It was faith that made Moses, when he had grown up, refuse to be called the son of the king’s daughter. 25 He preferred to suffer with God’s people rather than to enjoy sin for a little while. 26 He reckoned that to suffer scorn for the Messiah was worth far more than all the treasures of Egypt, for he kept his eyes on the future reward.
27 It was faith that made Moses leave Egypt without being afraid of the king’s anger. As though he saw the invisible God, he refused to turn back. 28 It was faith that made him establish the Passover and order the blood to be sprinkled on the doors, so that the Angel of Death would not kill the first-born sons of the Israelites.
29 It was faith that made the Israelites able to cross the Red Sea as if on dry land; when the Egyptians tried to do it, the water swallowed them up.
30 It was faith that made the walls of Jericho fall down after the Israelites had marched around them for seven days. 31 It was faith that kept the prostitute Rahab from being killed with those who disobeyed God, for she gave the Israelite spies a friendly welcome.
32 Should I go on? There isn’t enough time for me to speak of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and the prophets. 33 Through faith they fought whole countries and won. They did what was right and received what God had promised. They shut the mouths of lions, 34 put out fierce fires, escaped being killed by the sword. They were weak, but became strong; they were mighty in battle and defeated the armies of foreigners. 35 Through faith women received their dead relatives raised back to life.
Others, refusing to accept freedom, died under torture in order to be raised to a better life. 36 Some were mocked and whipped, and others were put in chains and taken off to prison. 37 They were stoned, they were sawed in two, they were killed by the sword. They went around clothed in skins of sheep or goats—poor, persecuted, and mistreated. 38 The world was not good enough for them! They wandered like refugees in the deserts and hills, living in caves and holes in the ground.
39 What a record all of these have won by their faith ! Yet they did not receive what God had promised, 40 because God had decided on an even better plan for us. His purpose was that only in company with us would they be made perfect.

It is by faith all things are done

Faith consists mainly of Two things
1.) To believe
2.) Put it in action

Mother Mary following the two main things in faith by showing the belief and putting it in action

Luke 1 :26-37
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
34 Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?”
35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. 36 Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. 37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”

James 2: 14 16

Faith and Actions
14 My Friends, what good is it for one of you to say that you have faith if your actions do not prove it? Can that faith save you? 15 Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. 16 What good is there in your saying to them, “God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!”—if you don’t give them the necessities of life?

Focus On Your Faithfulness towards God
Don’t Hinder From Faith,
Don’t Let your Faith be disturbed,
Don’t Doubt your Faith.

With Full Belief
Put your Faith in JESUS CHRIST THE LORD.

FORGIVENESS

Lets Start the Topic with a Bible verse from Matthew 18:23-35

23 because the Kingdom of heaven is like this. Once there was a king who decided to check on his servants’ accounts. 24 He had just begun to do so when one of them was brought in who owed him millions of dollars. 25 The servant did not have enough to pay his debt, so the king ordered him to be sold as a slave, with his wife and his children and all that he had, in order to pay the debt. 26 The servant fell on his knees before the king. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged, ‘and I will pay you everything!’ 27 The king felt sorry for him, so he forgave him the debt and let him go.
28 “Then the man went out and met one of his fellow servants who owed him a few dollars. He grabbed him and started choking him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he said. 29 His fellow servant fell down and begged him, ‘Be patient with me, and I will pay you back!’ 30 But he refused; instead, he had him thrown into jail until he should pay the debt. 31 When the other servants saw what had happened, they were very upset and went to the king and told him everything. 32 So he called the servant in. ‘You worthless slave!’ he said. ‘I forgave you the whole amount you owed me, just because you asked me to. 33 You should have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you.’ 34 The king was very angry, and he sent the servant to jail to be punished until he should pay back the whole amount.”
35 And Jesus concluded, “That is how my Father in heaven will treat every one of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”

Hebrews 12 : 11-15

12 Lift up your tired hands, then, and strengthen your trembling knees! 13 Keep walking on straight paths, so that the lame foot may not be disabled, but instead be healed.
14 Try to be at peace with everyone, and try to live a holy life, because no one will see the Lord without it. 15 Guard against turning back from the grace of God. Let no one become like a bitter plant that grows up and causes many troubles with its poison.

The Mind Of Human Being is so Mean that as of the Man who dint Forgive the Fellow servant

We want the grace but don’t let others Have it.

* Summary of the Ten Commandments

Matthew 22-36-42 ( greatest commandment)

36 “Teacher,” he asked, “which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and the most important commandment. 39 The second most important commandment is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ 40 The whole Law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

When We Don’t Forgive Any Person Because of the things ( Hurt, gossip or anything ) they have done to us, We are already Broken the First commandment Because JESUS is at the heart of the throne when you don’t forgive the Person , you take the place of the Throne and have set aside JESUS from the throne.

4 Promises That Jesus Gives US.

1.) Mark 11:24-25
24 For this Reason I tell you, When You pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for. 25 And when you stand and pray, forgive anything you may have against anyone, so that your Father in heaven will forgive the wrongs you have done.”

2.) Matthew 6:14
14 “If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you.

3.) Matthew 5-23-24
23 So if Your about offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother, and then come back and offer your gift to God.

4.) James 5:16
16 So then, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you will be healed. The prayer of a good person has a powerful effect.

Whenever You Forgive Someone,
YOU Receive JESUS in that moment.

Just as you feel the same in the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Faithfulness and Forgiveness each play a big part in our Life , All we have to do is put our focus and do as Jesus has done.

Feel The presence of the Holy spirit in whatever you do.

Happy to share with you all.
GOD Bless
Praise the Lord.

Vision and GOD calling in our Life in 2019

First post of 2019 …. All Glory to GOD

Do you All want to know what God has kept for your life in 2019..??

The Word of GOD to read and meditate on it in your routine Life, and he will be showing you the way , the guidance in the form of Vision that he showed to his disciples.

Habakkuk 2:2-4

The Lord gave me this answer: “Write down clearly on tablets what I reveal to you, so that it can be read at a glance. Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed. And this is the message: ‘Those who are evil will not survive, but those who are righteous will live because they are faithful to God.’”

If it seems slow wait for it it will surely come it will not delay

” BUT THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL LIVE BY FAITH “

Genesis46:2 2 God spoke to him in a vision at night and called, “Jacob, Jacob!”
“Yes, here I am,” he answered.

Acts 2:17
17 ‘This is what I will do in the last days, God says:
I will pour out my Spirit on everyone.
Your sons and daughters will proclaim my message;
your young men will see visions,
and your old men will have dreams.

DEFINITION OF VISION ?

1.) An idea or mental image of something
2.) An experience in which you see things that do not exist physically when your mind is affected
3.) The faculty or state of being able to see the ability to think about or plan future with imagination.

Hebrews 11:7
It was faith that made Noah hear God’s warnings about things in the future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which he and his family were saved. As a result, the world was condemned, and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith.

Hebrews 8:10
10 Now, this is the covenant that i will  make with the people of Israel
in the days to come, says the Lord:
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.

Proverbs 29:18
18 A nation without GOD’s guidance is a nation without order. Happy are those who keep God’s law!

How to execute the visions in our Life ?

Vision > goals > action plan

Schedule in agreement to our goals then god will steer u right in his purpose

Proverbs 19:21
21 People may plan all kinds of things, but the Lord’s will is going to be done.

1 Peter 2:9
But you are the chosen race, the King’s priests, the holy nation, God’s own people, chosen to proclaim the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his own marvelous light.

2 Chronicles 16 :9
The Lord keeps close watch over the whole world, to give strength to those whose hearts are loyal to him. You have acted foolishly, and so from now on you will always be at war.”

2 Corinthians 6 :17
17 And so the Lord Says,
“You must leave them
    and separate yourselves from them.
Have nothing to do with what is unclean,
    and I will accept you.

Ezra 10:11
11 Now then, confess your sins to the Lord, the God of your ancestors, and do what pleases him. Separate yourselves from the foreigners living in our land and get rid of your foreign wives.”

John 8 :31-41
the Truth will Set you Free
31 So Jesus  said to those who believed in him, “If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples; 32 you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
33 “We are the descendants of Abraham,” they answered, “and we have never been anybody’s slaves. What do you mean, then, by saying, ‘You will be free’?”
34 Jesus said to them, “I am telling you the truth: everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 35 A slave does not belong to a family permanently, but a son belongs there forever. 36 If the Son sets you free, then you will be really free. 37 I know you are Abraham’s descendants. Yet you are trying to kill me, because you will not accept my teaching. 38 I talk about what my Father has shown me, but you do what your father has told you.”
39 They answered him, “Our father is Abraham.”
“If you really were Abraham’s children,” Jesus replied, “you would do,the same things that he did. 40 All I have ever done is to tell you the truth I heard from God, yet you are trying to kill me. Abraham did nothing like this! 41 You are doing what your father did.”
“God himself is the only Father we have,” they answered, “and we are his true children.”

The Story Of Abraham and GOD testing Him

Genesis 15:6
Abram put his trust in the Lord, and because of this the Lord was pleased with him and accepted him.

Galatians 3:6-14 , 29
Consider the experience of Abraham; as the scripture says, “He believed God, and because of his faith God accepted him as righteous.” 7  You should realize , then, that the real descendants of Abraham are the people who have faith. The scripture predicted that God would put the Gentiles right with himself through faith. And so the scripture announced the Good News to Abraham: “Through you God will bless all people.” Abraham believed and was blessed; so all who believe are blessed as he was.10 Those who depend on obeying the Law live under a curse. For the scripture says, “Whoever does not always obey everything that is written in the book of the Law is under God’s curse!” 11 Now, it is clear that no one is put right with God by means of the Law, because the scripture says, “Only the person who is put right with God through faith shall live.”12 But the Law has nothing to do with faith. Instead, as the scripture says, “Whoever does everything the Law requires will live.”13 But by becoming a curse for us Christ has redeemed us from the curse that the Law brings; for the scripture says, “Anyone who is hanged on a tree is under God’s curse.” 14 Christ did this in order that the blessing which God promised to Abraham might be given to the Gentiles by means of Christ Jesus, so that through faith we might receive the Spirit promised by God.
29 If you belong to Christ , then you are  the descendants of Abraham and will receive what God has promised.

The disciples he called out they left everything Behind and Followed It..
So You know what you Have to Do when God Calls ..

Hebrews 11:8
8 It was faith that made Abraham obey when God called him to go out to a country which God had promised to give him. He left his own country without knowing where he was going.

Ephesians 2:2
At that time you followed the world’s evil way; you obeyed the ruler of the spiritual powers in space, the spirit who now controls the people who disobey God.

Isaiah51:2  2 Think of your ancestor, Abraham,
and of Sarah, from whom you are descended.
When I called Abraham , he was childless,
    but I blessed him and gave him children;
    I made his descendants numerous

The Story from the Bible about Abraham and GOD

Genesis 12 Good News Translation (GNT)
God’s Call to Abram
12 The Lord said to Abram, “Leave your country, your relatives, and your father’s home, and go to a land that I am going to show you. I will give you many descendants, and they will become a great nation. I will bless you and make your name famous, so that you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you,
But I will curse those who curse you.
And through you I will bless all the nations.”[a]
When Abram was seventy-five years old, he started out from Haran, as the Lord had told him to do; and Lot went with him. Abram took his wife Sarai, his nephew Lot, and all the wealth and all the slaves they had acquired in Haran, and they started out for the land of Canaan.
When they arrived in Canaan, Abram traveled through the land until he came to the sacred tree of Moreh, the holy place at Shechem. (At that time the Canaanites were still living in the land.) The Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “This is the country that I am going to give to your descendants.” Then Abram built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him. After that, he moved on south to the hill country east of the city of Bethel and set up his camp between Bethel on the west and Ai on the east. There also he built an altar and worshiped the Lord. Then he moved on from place to place, going toward the southern part of Canaan.

10 But there was a famine in Canaan, and it was so bad that Abram went farther south to Egypt, to live there for a while. 11 When he was about to cross the border into Egypt, he said to his wife Sarai, “You are a beautiful woman. 12 When the Egyptians see you, they will assume that you are my wife, and so they will kill me and let you live. 13 Tell them that you are my sister; then because of you they will let me live and treat me well.” 14 When he crossed the border into Egypt, the Egyptians did see that his wife was beautiful. 15 Some of the court officials saw her and told the king how beautiful she was; so she was taken to his palace. 16 Because of her the king treated Abram well and gave him flocks of sheep and goats, cattle, donkeys, slaves, and camels.
17 But because the king had taken Sarai, the Lord sent terrible diseases on him and on the people of his palace. 18 Then the king sent for Abram and asked him, “What have you done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife? 19 Why did you say that she was your sister, and let me take her as my wife? Here is your wife; take her and get out!” 20 The king gave orders to his men, so they took Abram and put him out of the country, together with his wife and everything he owned.

Genesis 13

Abraham and Lot separate
13 Abram went north out of Egypt to the southern part of Canaan with his wife and everything he owned, and Lot went with him. Abram was a very rich man, with sheep, goats, and cattle, as well as silver and gold. Then he left there and moved from place to place, going toward Bethel. He reached the place between Bethel and Ai where he had camped before and had built an altar. There he worshiped the Lord.
Lot also had sheep, goats, and cattle, as well as his own family and servants. And so there was not enough pasture land for the two of them to stay together, because they had too many animals. So quarrels broke out between the men who took care of Abram’s animals and those who took care of Lot’s animals. (At that time the Canaanites and the Perizzites were still living in the land.)
Then Abram said to Lot, “We are relatives, and your men and my men shouldn’t be quarreling. So let’s separate. Choose any part of the land you want. You go one way, and I’ll go the other.”
10 Lot looked around and saw that the whole Jordan Valley, all the way to Zoar, had plenty of water, like the Garden of the Lord[a] or like the land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord had destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.) 11 So Lot chose the whole Jordan Valley for himself and moved away toward the east. That is how the two men parted. 12 Abram stayed in the land of Canaan, and Lot settled among the cities in the valley and camped near Sodom, 13 whose people were wicked and sinned against the Lord.
Abram Moves to Hebron
14 After Lot had left, the Lord said to Abram, “From where you are, look carefully in all directions. 15 I am going to give you and your descendants all the land that you see, and it will be yours forever. 16 I am going to give you so many descendants that no one will be able to count them all; it would be as easy to count all the specks of dust on earth! 17 Now, go and look over the whole land, because I am going to give it all to you.” 18 So Abram moved his camp and settled near the sacred trees of Mamre at Hebron, and there he built an altar to the Lord.

Genesis 20: 2-18

Abraham and Abimelech

he said that his wife Sarah was his sister. So King Abimelech of Gerar had Sarah brought to him. One night God appeared to him in a dream and said, “You are going to die, because you have taken this woman; she is already married.”
But Abimelech had not come near her, and he said, “Lord, I am innocent! Would you destroy me and my people? Abraham himself said that she was his sister, and she said the same thing. I did this with a clear conscience, and I have done no wrong.”
God replied in the dream, “Yes, I know that you did it with a clear conscience; so I kept you from sinning against me and did not let you touch her. But now, give the woman back to her husband. He is a prophet, and he will pray for you, so that you will not die. But if you do not give her back, I warn you that you are going to die, you and all your people.”
Early the next morning Abimelech called all his officials and told them what had happened, and they were terrified. Then Abimelech called Abraham and asked, “What have you done to us? What wrong have I done to you to make you bring this disaster on me and my kingdom? No one should ever do what you have done to me. 10 Why did you do it?”
11 Abraham answered, “I thought that there would be no one here who has reverence for God and that they would kill me to get my wife. 12 She really is my sister. She is the daughter of my father, but not of my mother, and I married her. 13 So when God sent me from my father’s house into foreign lands, I said to her, ‘You can show how loyal you are to me by telling everyone that I am your brother.’”
14 Then Abimelech gave Sarah back to Abraham, and at the same time he gave him sheep, cattle, and slaves. 15 He said to Abraham, “Here is my whole land; live anywhere you like.” 16 He said to Sarah, “I am giving your brother a thousand pieces of silver as proof to all who are with you that you are innocent; everyone will know that you have done no wrong.”
17-18 Because of what had happened to Sarah, Abraham’s wife, the Lordhad made it impossible for any woman in Abimelech’s palace to have children. So Abraham prayed for Abimelech, and God healed him. He also healed his wife and his slave women, so that they could have children.

So Thats How Abraham was called GOD’s Friend
Do you all want to be Called

James 2 :23
23 And the scripture came true that said , “Abraham believed God, and because of his faith God accepted him as righteous.” And so Abraham was called God’s friend.

So I End up with The Final verse …May you do it

John 15:14

Inner healing and deliverance
Most vital and important areas of deliverance ministry.

Emotional wounds – Holy spirit helps to bring to surface deeply concealed hurts trauma fears guilt, Truth healing peace and forgiveness

Inner healing is not
1.)Psychiatry
2.)Positive thinking
3.)Act of meditation
4.)Escapism
5.)Group therapy
6.)Recovery program
7.)Charlatanism hypnotism or new age nonsense.
8.)Meddling in the past, with every bit of emotional residue from the past tend to create unhealthy anxiety
9.)It should take an attitude of moving into healing and wholeness as quickly as possible

Purpose of Inner Healing

When man sinned our image and likeness in God got contaminated marred and disfigured
At salvation we are restored back into his image and likeness
Paves the way to become more like Jesus
Image and likeness ( fruit of the spirit) in us , is the visa to enter Heaven
We find difficulty in relationship, difficult In responding to sin or to find peace or even to have close relationship with Jesus then inner healing will tackle the area of our lives that makes us incomplete
Memories must be uncovered .

Luke 4:18
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has chosen me to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to set free the oppressed

Inner healing deals with restoring our emotional and spiritual health.

Psalm 23:3
He gives me new strength.
He guides me in the right paths,
    as he has promised.

Hebrews 12:15
15  Guard against turning back from the grace of God. Let no one become like a bitter plant that grows up and causes many troubles with its poison.

Once we tackle the emotional area of our lives, relationships will be healthier.

Good tree bears good fruit :

Romans 8 : 23
23 But it is not just creation alone which groans; we who have the Spirit as the first of God’s gifts also groan within ourselves as we wait for God to make us his children and set our whole being free.

Romans 8 : 5, 6
Those who live as their human nature tells them to, have their minds controlled by what human nature wants. Those who live as the Spirit tells them to, have their minds controlled by what the Spirit wants. To be controlled by human nature results in death; to be controlled by the Spirit results in life and peace.

Gal 5:16-17

16 What i say is this: let the Spirit direct your lives, and you will not satisfy the desires of the human nature. 17 For what our human nature wants is opposed to what the Spirit wants, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to what our human nature wants. These two are enemies, and this means that you cannot do what you want to do.

Flesh opposes the spirit how ?
Flesh – five senses ,words expression and actions enter our mind ( soul)
Unhealed areas of mind are active spirit is held captive

Mark 7:23
23 all these evil things comes from you and make you unclean.” M

Psalm 67 : 5- 6
5 May the people praise you , O God;
    may all the peoples praise you The land has produced its harvest;
God, our God, has blessed us.

jeremiah 9:14
14 Instead, they have been stubborn and have worshiped the idols of Baal as their ancestors taught them to do.

ecclesiastes 9:3
3 One fate comes to all alike, and this is as wrong as anything that happens in this world. As long as people live, their minds are full of evil and madness, and suddenly they die.

ephesians 4:22-24
22 So get rid of your old selfwhich made  you live as you used to—the old self that was being destroyed by its deceitful desires. 23 Your hearts and minds must be made completely new, 24 and you must put on the new self, which is created in God’s likeness and reveals itself in the true life that is upright and holy.

Known to others : knowledge and skills
Unknown to others : attitude

John 14:26
26 The Helperthe Holy Spiritwhom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you. John 15:26
26 “The Helper will come—the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the Father. I will send him to you from the Father, and he will speak about me.

Genesis 2:7
Then the Lord God took some soil from the ground and formed a man out of it; he breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live.

Are problem focused or solution focused ?

1.) Forgive yourself
Colossians 1: 22-23
22 But now, by means of the physical death of his Son, God has made you his friends, in order to bring you, holy, pure, and faultless, into his presence. 23 You must, of course, continue faithful on a firm and sure foundation, and must not allow yourselves to be shaken from the hope you gained when you heard the gospel. It is of this gospel that I, Paul, became a servant—this gospel which has been preached to everybody in the world.

2.) Putting memories at the foot of the cross
Matthew 18:32-35
32 So he called the servant in. ‘You worthless slave!’ he said. ‘I forgave you the whole amount you owed me, just because you asked me to. 33 You should have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you.’ 34 The king was very angry, and he sent the servant to jail to be punished until he should pay back the whole amount.”
35 And Jesus concluded, “That is how my Father in heaven will treat every one of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.”

3.) Be thankful
Colossians 3:15
15 The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for i
t is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful.

So make a decision
Change your mindset

As you prepare for Christmas ,May you have the change in your hearts and indeed a change in your Life.

Merry Christmas everybody!!

Love in the Way as JESUS Does

The Thing Most people Need is LOVE .

18116_5.jpg

Ephesians 5:25 -33

25 Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it. 26 He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water, 27 in order to present the church to himself in all its beauty—pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection. 28 Men ought to love their wives just as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself. (29 None of us ever hate our own bodies. Instead, we feed them, and take care of them, just as Christ does the church; 30 for we are members of his body.) 31 As the scripture says, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and unite with his wife, and the two will become one.” 32 There is a deep secret truth revealed in this scripture, which I understand as applying to Christ and the church. 33 But it also applies to you: every husband must love his wife as himself, and every wife must respect her husband.

Agape love is unconditional

There are  Five love languages :

1.) Words of affirmation
2.) Quality time
3.) Receiving gifts
4.) Acts of service
5.) Physical touch

5-love-languages-signs

Five love languages in our relationship with Christ
1.)Words of affirmation
Hebrews 13:15 –  Let us, then, always offer praise to God as our sacrifice through Jesus, which is the offering presented by lips that confess him as Lord.

2.) Quality time
Deuteronomy 17:18-19 18 When he becomes king, he is to have a copy of the book of God’s laws and teachings made from the original copy kept by the levitical priests. 19 He is to keep this book near him and read from it all his life, so that he will learn to honor the Lord and to obey faithfully everything that is commanded in it.

3.) Receiving gifts
Romans 12:1 – So then, my friends, because of God’s great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer.

4.) Acts of service
1 John 5:3 –  For our love for god means that we obey his commands. And his commands are not too hard for us.

5.)Physical touch
Matthew 8:1-3 When Jesus came down from the hill, large crowds followed him. Then a man suffering from a dreaded skin disease came to him, knelt down before him, and said, “Sir, if you want to, you can make me clean.”Jesus reached out and touched him. “I do want to,” he answered. “Be clean!” At once the man was healed of his disease.

How to apply this at our life:
1.) Identify the primary and secondary love Languages which they prefer
2.) Identify their primary and secondary  love Languages of spouse or children
3.) Assign Every day

Monday – Words of affirmation
Tuesday –  Quality time
Wednesday –  Receiving gifts
Thursday –  Acts of service
Friday –  Physical touch

Then You Will surely Know What the agape Love Means
Love is the Most precious thing in a relationship, Friendship and Parenting.
May You dwell in It.
This Generation Longs for Love so But they Fall for it too easily.
So Give the LOVE which Matters with the presence of GOD

Praise the Lord
GOD bless you
Thanks to the lord
Have a great day.
